Make Plans for the Palm Beaches Marathon
There’s nothing quite as rewarding as running and finishing a marathon. When you participate in a marathon in an area as beautiful as Palm Beach County, the race is even more rewarding. You can run along some of the most scenic parts of the county as you test your athletic prowess and endurance.
About the Marathon
The Palm Beaches Marathon is sponsored by FITTEAM and presented by the Jupiter Medical Center. The event isn’t only one day. Rather, it lasts a whole weekend. The festivities begin on December 6th and end on December 8th. On the evening of the 6th, there will be 5K. Throughout the weekend, there will be an expo with vendors and some entertainment. On Sunday morning, the longer races will kick off. There will be a marathon, half marathon, 10K, and relay race.
The races all begin and end at the same place. The origin and finish line is close to the Meyer Amphitheater. Although the routes vary based on the race length, they all go through some beautiful areas. You can run alongside the water, go past parks, and pass through downtown Palm Beach. The race gives you a unique view of an amazing area.
If you’re a serious runner, you might enjoy the face that this marathon is part of the Boston Qualifier. It’s certified by the USATF and is the second fastest marathon in Florida.
